Kristen Cox is an executive-level consultant and experienced program director with a demonstrated ability to lead organizations through full implementation lifecycles for clinical systems. In her role as Principal, Kristen assists clients in developing robust IT governance models, improving adoption of EHR systems, maintaining project timelines and budgets and enhancing clinical outcomes.
Kristen brings 8 years of health IT experience and 17 years of hospital operations experience to clients. She focuses on effective project management and transformation strategies to lead organizations through broad scale system changes and optimization projects. Kristen has directly overseen successful system implementations at 10 hospitals, ranging from trauma centers to critical access hospitals, 200+ ambulatory clinics and an outpatient care management office using a variety of clinical systems (Epic, Allscripts, Optum). Previous clients have included Lahey Health, Ascension Health, Steward Health and UMass Memorial Medical Center.
With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University, Kristen’s focus on continued education enhances her ability to engineer effective and efficient health IT management strategies.
