Miami, FL. May 31, 2012 – Each year Divurgent, a national healthcare consulting firm, holds a company retreat where team members gather and collaborate on past accomplishments and set future achievements. This year, Divurgent held its company retreat in the beautiful city of Miami.
During this year’s retreat, team members participated in a variety of team building activities and games, where they had to successfully work together to win each challenge. The prize? Raising money for Miami Children’s Hospital.
“One of our primary goals during each retreat is to promote awareness of our team spirit and to reinforce commitment to shared goals and objectives,” says Mary Sirois, Principal of Divurgent’s Clinical Transformation Practice and this year’s Retreat Coordinator. “What better way to encourage our team members to unite, than a friendly competition which will raise money for an amazing charity and support Divurgent’s Community Commitment to helping children’s health.”
The winning team had the honor of presenting Miami Children’s Hospital with a check in the amount of $5,000 toward its Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® program. “It was a fantastic feeling to collaborate with co-workers and to present a check on behalf of Divurgent to Miami Children’s Hospital,” says Shane Danaher, Vice President and the Divurgent Retreat Game Show Host.
“We are incredibly grateful to the employees of Divurgent for selecting Miami Children’s Hospital as their Charity of Choice and demonstrating that children’s healthcare is a cause that deserves resources and attention from our corporate community,” said Maria Moldes, Director of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals & Corporate Relations at Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. “This event will greatly benefit the children and families from throughout the country and the globe that rely on Miami Children’s Hospital for superior pediatric healthcare.”
