Divurgent’s Strategic Advisory Services Leader, Dan Ulatowski, provides our clients a diverse offering of services utilizing his team’s deep expertise in IT management and strategic leadership. Through targeted solutions, Dan assists today’s healthcare organizations optimize and modernize their care and business models, and achieve tangible return on investment for EHRs and other technologies.
An epidemiologist at heart, Dan has built a strong career focused on improving outcomes and cutting costs through organizational data management and strategic initiatives. His professional achievements include leading and designing 12 different HIT systems for large IDNs in his time with Epic Systems; managing strategic, data-driven development for at-risk outcomes; and working with the National Association of Healthcare Quality’s Q Essentials solution development program.
Dan earned a degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin. He is published in his field for his work on immunological protein response mechanisms; holds a certificate of program graduation from The Data Warehouse Institute (TWDI), is an active subject matter expert and presenter for his HIMSS chapter; has contributed to CMS’s VBP and PQRS measure development; and advises the board of the Washington Healthcare Access Alliance on vendor and technology grants available to their free clinics.
