Virginia Beach, VA. February 20, 2014 — Divurgent will be making their second appearance at the 2014 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Continuing our HIMSS tradition of raising monies for the hosting city’s local children’s hospital, Divurgent will be holding a “Spin-to-Win” donation drive at our booth #4372 to raise $5,000 for Florida Hospital for Children – but we need help from our friends at HIMSS to reach our goal!
Last year’s “Signature Drive” was the feature attraction at Divurgent’s booth, and with 500 signatures from HIMSS attendees, we were able to raise $5,000 for the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. Keeping with tradition, Divurgent has put together a very special, game show inspired event, “Spin-to-Win,” during the HIMSS 2014 Expo, giving attendees the opportunity to have a little fun and join in our commitment to improving children’s healthcare nationwide.
Divurgent’s booth #4372, will feature our “Spin-to-Win” game show-themed donation drive, with a specially designed Wheel-of-Donations. Attendees will “come on up” and spin the Wheel-of-Donations to see what monetary value Divurgent will contribute to Florida Hospital for Children, on the spinner’s behalf. That’s right, we’ll be donating our own money…not the attendees! We have all the confidence our friends at HIMSS will help us reach our goal of $5,000 within the first few days of the conference.
On Wednesday morning, February 26th, Divurgent welcomes all HIMSS attendees to join us at our booth #4372, as we host a check presentation ceremony and reception for Florida Hospital for Children. “Working alongside our fellow HIMSS members and attendees to raise money for the Orlando community is what our Team is looking forward to the most, and not surprisingly we have found that the attendees are just as excited to participate in making an impact on a local children’s hospital,” says Shane Danaher, Divurgent’s Vice President of Business Development and Marketing.
In addition to our “Spin-to-Win” donation drive, Divurgent is also excited to have our entire Leadership Team in attendance at HIMSS. The Team’s goals for this year’s conference are to join in on the big-topic discussions, learn more about future industry needs, and to make new connections among what is healthcare’s largest gathering of industry leaders.
