Divurgent Hosts “High-Roller Children’s Charity Drive” at HIMSS16

Virginia Beach, VA. February 16, 2016—In just a few short weeks, Divurgent will host their fourth consecutive Children’s Charity Drive at the annual HIMSS Conference and Expo, held this year in the electric city of Las Vegas, Nevada, starting Feb. 29-Mar. 3. With the help and the luck of their fellow HIMSS attendees and game enthusiasts, Divurgent plans to raise $5,000 to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC, home to Nevada’s ONLY designated Pediatric Trauma Center, Burn Center, and Transplant Center!

Divurgent invites all those willing to roll the dice for children’s healthcare to participate in the High Roller Charity Drive, the featured event at booth #11612. HIMSS16 attendees can toss, or “roll,” oversized inflatable red dice across the conference floor—whatever number the dice lands on represents the number of $5 poker chips they can donate on behalf of Divurgent. Yes, it is as fun as it sounds! The higher the roll, the bigger the donation. Participants can donate up to $30 of Divurgent’s money in just one roll—the more “high rollers” who stop by the Divurgent booth, the faster Divurgent will meet their donation goal of $5,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC.

“The excitement that this game produces across an audience is contagious,” said Shane Danaher, National Partner, Client Services, “I think we’ll get to our donation goal in record time this year, which is an exciting thing to be a part of in the middle of a crowded expo floor. Our favorite part of the HIMSS event is our charity drive, because it allows us to share our passion for children’s healthcare with the attendees, and breaks up the typical booth theme.”

Will you be a high roller? Be sure to look for Divurgent’s booth (#11612) when you’re strolling through the HIMSS16 Expo, and help the Divurgent Team meet their donation goal. Want to know what else we have up our sleeve during this year’s conference? Check out our HIMSS agenda.

About Children’s Hospital of Nevada

Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC is devoted to making sick and injured children healthy and well by combining compassionate, family-centered care with modern technology.

Children are different. They need different health care that focuses on their unique needs, involves their parents from start to finish, and is provided in places designed to be kid-sized and child-friendly. Because they’re growing and developing, children’s health care needs are constantly changing. They require extra time, additional monitoring, specialized medications, and caregivers with the skills and compassion to understand the needs of children.

With this in mind, Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC was created.
