Divurgent Ranks 20th on Modern Healthcare’s Top 100 Best Places to Work

Virginia Beach, VA. October 19, 2015—Last Wednesday, it was announced at the Modern Healthcare Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Dinner that Divurgent ranks 20th among today’s top companies. The room was electric as representatives from provider, insurer, and vendor organizations eagerly and patiently waited to be called to the stage. This is Divurgent’s third and best-performing year on Modern Healthcare’s prestigious list, which is owed in part by the unique initiatives set forth by Divurgent’s Culture Committee and Team Resources team, and in whole by the Team Members that truly define Divurgent’s corporate culture.

Fostering a corporate culture that continues to inspire Team Members, Divurgent’s Culture Committee works collectively to formulate recommendations for new initiatives based on feedback and opinions collected from Team Members. Over the past year, the committee has initiated various companywide communications, such as a more comprehensive Team Newsletter, a Quarterly CEO Letter, and a reformatted Divurgent Quarterly Call; all of which facilitate educational opportunities regarding the industry and information concerning the company’s current and future goals. Additional ongoing training opportunities through “Lunch and Learn” sessions ensures the development of each individual, while an enhanced New Hire Orientation program ensures each Team Member starts off with all necessary information to be successful, including a DiSC communication tool assessment and training.

In addition to the Culture Committee’s efforts, Divurgent’s Team Resources team continues to encourage healthy lifestyles at work and at home through our Wellness Awareness program, which compliments the two-pronged Wellness Activity programs. The Wellness Awareness program helps communicate upcoming regulatory changes and sponsors companywide health challenges, while the two-pronged Wellness Activity programs provide opportunities to save money on monthly health insurance premiums and receive reimbursement for healthy activity costs.
