Arch Collaborative Releases New Case Study to Members, Highlighting Baptist Health and Divurgent Partnership

Arch Collaborative Case Study, highlighting benefits of eLearning, primarily decreasing onboarding time for clinicians during COVID-19 Pandemic

November 16, 2021 – Virginia Beach, VA – Divurgent,  , an internationally recognized healthcare IT consulting company, announced today that the Arch Collaborative recently released a Case Study to their Arch Collaborative Members, created in partnership with Baptist Health and Divurgent.

The overall goal of the program was to reduce onboarding time spent in a classroom and facilitate virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

The Case Study cites “The eLearning courses have resulted in a dramatic reduction of classroom time for physicians; now, they only need 1–2 hours in person and in a classroom. This has likely saved the organization $37,500 for each 25 newly onboarded physicians and has freed up 0.5 FTEs among the clinical informatics team.”

Baptist Health and Divurgent partnered to verify and edit training content to meet specific physician training needs and styles, focused content on high-performing individuals within the organization and ensured interactive content like simulations to help learn workflows.

Key outcomes cited in the case study included:

  • Caused participants in the eLearning course to see a +11-point difference in their initial training satisfaction as shown in the Arch Collaborative survey
  • Saved over $37,500 per 25 physicians in reduced training time among physicians
  • Increased clinical informatics capacity by 0.5 FTEs
  • Decreased average onboarding classroom time from 4–12 hours to 1–2 hours

This partnership and project outcomes were recently presented at the Arch Collaborative Learning Summit 2021 held in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Cameron Chambers, Clinical Systems Training/Development Manager, Baptist Health Jacksonville, and Konyinsola Oshikoya, Manager, Divurgent, spoke on the program structure and benefits to Baptist Health.

The Arch Collaborative has helped over 200 provider organizations gain insights and best practices related to physician and clinician satisfaction, an initiative that parallels Divurgent’s physician efficiency solutions.
